Abstract: North Song Dynasty is the brilliant time of the prose and the achievement of the narrative prose particularly attracts people's attention. This is inseparable in the author of the narrative prose -the literati and officialdom's mental attitude and ideological level. Their love in life , pursuit to ideal , seeking romantic , pour generous connotation of life into the narrative prose .This thesis is talking about the poetic life of literati and officialdom of North Song Dynasty that reflected from the narrative prose.
