Abstract Shen Xia Xian Ji is a travel notes of Shen Yanzhi who was lived in medium or terminal of Tang Dynasty.The contents of the book were the writer's experiences himself and most incidents happened at that time.Compared with the two Tang Book and Zi Zhi Tong Jian,this corper was more original and so had more higher value in the literature.So it could amend the defects and falsehoods in historical literature of Tang.The former scholars had various viewpoints about the writer's native place,and now ,prefessor Yu Jiaxi has thoroughly solved the issues.There are only three papers about his annual storys which were researched by Zhang Quangong,Zhang Qinghua and Li Jianguo in the academia.However,their researches dwelt on one or some aspects,and seldom did total researches.This article holds that this corpor should be analyzed and researched comprehensively.This article is composed with seven parts:Part One:The simple investigation of his native place and the accurate bore and dye time of the writer.Firstly,the result diproves the viewpoint that many people thank his native place was Chang'an,and the true result is that he was born in Chang'an,but his native place was Wu Xing. Secondly, the outcomes correct the viewpoints of the above three prefessors.I think the latest bore and dye time of the writer is 786 AD and 83 IAD.Part Two: The annual storys about the writer and the disquisition of this corpor.the result is correct the falsehoods of previous scholars and supply the historical book contents because the author went through that period.Part Three: The researching of his family . this part is compared of twelvesects.such as his ancestors, brothers,sister,aunt,wife,grandfath- ers, and so on.Part Four: The handing-down and edition of the book. This part makes use of the lists of some bibliophiles in the Qing Dynasty.combined with other relevant records.lt narratives clearly the handing-down and the extant editions.Part Five: The writer's lore inherited from his sept and the virtue of this corpus in history.Part Six:Brief summary.lt summarize simply the whole assay. Part Seven:The writer had seen two dances ,Zhe Zhi and Lu Yao.This part is researching the origion ,action ,name of the two dances,and when all errors corrected by prefessors ,I will have pure-hearted mood.
