On The Mandarin Tautology Judgment Structure And Its Correlative Structure

This thesis focuses on the Mandarin tautology judgment structure, which containstwo parts on the basis of part of speech: nominal and predicative.In the first part, we studies the Mandarin nominal tautology judgment structure.As for semantics, the key of understanding the single structure is the distinguishedcharacter of x. If there is an adverb in the structure, we can comprehend the meaningof the structure in the pragmatic way of active interpretation and passive interpretation.The meaning of double can be separated into two kinds ——opposite andenumerative. These two can be expanded continuedly, but their expanding way isdifferent. The former is made of double and double, whereas the latter is formed bythe inner expansion.In the second part, we studies the Mandarin predicative tautology judgmentstructure and its correlative structure. The predicative tautology judgment structure:both the former and the latter "x"in the structure is designation. The meaning of thestructure is making a definition of conception or character. Its correlative structure ——the predicative tautology structure : the former "x"in the structure is designation,and the latter is statement. The meaning of the structure is affirmance. The predicativetautology judgment structure have relation to the predicative tautology structure. Theynot only have some differences, but also can change into each other.
