| SanJiaZhu of ShiJing, including MaoShiGuXunZhuan, MaoShiJian and MaoShiZhengYi, belong to the form of note, which explains not only the meaning of the words but also the meaning of the sentences. Especially, MaoShiZhengYi explains both ShiJing and its note. SanJiaZhu have been over eight hundred years and they represented the early years of Western Han Dynasty, the end the Eastern Han Dynasty, the early years of Tang Dynasty respectively. There was a gap of more than 400 years between each of them. The authors were representative figures in their times. Therefore, their works represented relatively more high-level in their times, too. So grammatical notions embodied in SanJiaZhu basically reflected the level of the people's understanding of the grammar in each era.This paper regards ancient grammatical idea and its development embodied in SanJiaZhu as the research objects. Adopting three-plane theory, using the methods of contrasting, summing up, counting, etc, morphology, syntax and its developing clues in SanJiaZhu are studied systematically in an all-round way. In detail, view of morphology mainly includes the view of the kinds of speech, the analysis of the words' function in the sentence structure, the analysis of different kinds of speech of one word, which reveals different meanings, and the analysis of the methods of words formation. View of syntax involves three-plane of syntactics, semantics, and pragmatics. Some views involve modern grammatical analysis, such as, sentence structure, semantics relation, and sentence pattern and type, etc.The whole paper is divided into four parts. The first part is introduction. It explains the theoretical foundation of this paper, and its meaning, target and content. Current situation on the study of ancient grammar is also reviewed. Second, view of morphology in SanJiaZhu is studied. Then, view of syntax in SanJiaZhu is studied. The last part is conclusion. In this part, several characteristics of the view of morphology and syntax in SanJiaZhu have been summarized. |
