The thesis regards a Modern Chinese grammatical construction "AXA, BXB", in which the "X" is the verbs that show ascription and appraisement .The construction is formed by linking two or more "AXA" minimal sentences which have fixed order and high consistency. Being insufficient to support itself in meaning, " AXA, BXB" is a bound construction. According to the meaning of "X" it can be further divided into four major subtypes, namely, Right and wrong type ( shi, bu shi and bu), have and no type(you, mei), resembling type(xiang), belong type(gui).This paper descripts every subtypes from three-triangle(form , meaning, pragmatic value), contrasts their meanings and tranfoms each other, in order to concludes its typical feature: structre consistency, grammar multi-function,meaning integrity, pragmatic evaluation. Although it expresses formally for affirmative or negation, it is not to judge A and B, but be usually used to imply a kind of subjective appraisement of speakers, maybe praise, distinguishing, depreciating, concession and so on.
