Fu Zuoyi Administration In Sui Yuan

Fu Zuoyi, as a patriot general in Kuomintang, is not only a great strategist, but a constructor with systematic political, economic and educational ideas as well. From 1931, when he was appointed chairman of Suiyuan province, to1937, when Anti-Japanese war broke out ,Fu zuoyi had been holding the beliefs that people come first and everything for people. At that time, Sui yuan was hounded by furious banditries, economic depression, natural disaster and increasingly serious bordery conflict. Thus,Fu Zuoyi took some effective steps to solve those problems. He encouraged to develop irrigation, plant trees, improve farming technology, reorganize finance, and promote industry and business. Most impotant of all, he put forward the policy of developing simultaneously the elementary and the vocational education. As a result, a peaceful and prosperous prospect began to emerage in Sui yuan. Confrented with Japanese invasion and King De's splitting activity, Fu zuoyi worked hard on strengthening his army. He waged a blow-for-blow fight against King De,and eventually got great success in the Anti-Japanese war in Sui yuan.
