Sing Of Flowing Water By The River Put Dream Into History

Du Mu and Li Shangyin are two famous poets in Tang Dynasty, Their Yong Shi poems have important effect on the development of this kind of poem theme. This thesis analyzes the gengral character of the times from their conception of history and the theory of Confucianism , and explains their difference as a result of individual factors on the base of their poems . Moreover , it summarizes the art characters and the rational spirit of their Yong Shi poems according to the trend of the times , studying the contradictions of art characters with traditional aesthetics and poems and discussing how they coordinate the contradictions into an art whole . Finally , it introduces the influence briefly about their Yong Shi poems to the end of the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty .
