The Relationship Between Summer-Cloth Handicraft Industry And The Change Of Tang-Yin Village

The small village is the brief name of the village settlement, which is the basic cell of our social construction . In the traditional society, its development is native, seldom under the yoke of human's artificial regulations, more under the natural rule.Tangyin village discussed in this paper is no exception. Combining its own nature terms(hardware) and social terms(software) of its region ,we can get its latent "development coefficient" of each village, which is their competition's capital in the long history. We can say ,more coefficient, more development chance, more change.By comparing their development coefficient of all the villages in Yihuang county, we can find out that the coefficient of Tangyin village is the biggest of all. Just because of that , Tangyin village finally developed into a famous big town concerning about summer-cloth handicraft industry in Jiangxi during the Qing dynasty. Zhang Shi-liu (Qing dynasty) says, "Tangyin village is more prosperous than any other village of Yihuang county."During the long course of history change ,Tangyin village experienced threestages -- small village, market, and town. By analyzing the change process ofTang-Yin village, we can find out that the formation process of Tang-Ying town is really the process from a country to a city , and Summer-cloth handicraft industry is only the power of change, which shows us the interrelationship between village industrialization and village citilization in traditional society. So, it will give us some inspiration for modern China's community changc(industrialization, citilization).
