Yangyi, one of the important writer at the early part of the song Dynasty(AD.960-1279), was well-known for parallel prose and XiKun style in the literary circles. In the Chinese literary criticism history, he was once a controversial figure because of the XiKun style. In fact ,his literary creation has abundant contents and various style but XiKun style. His flood of parallels made a great influence on the people at that time and brought tremendous benefit to later generations. He possessed the quality of comprehensive celebrated culture officials in song Dynasty. Politically , he had a clean and loyalty. On the thought, he was incorporated in the Confucianism, the Buddhism and the Daoism. He had a good command of literature and history. In this article, I try to make a contrast and comprehensive analysis of the Yang's parallel creation so that discuss his states that can not be ignored in literary world of the earlysong Dynasty.The full text is divided into four parts. The first part discusses the overall social and culture atmosphere the developing state of the literature itself, and analysize his literary and artistic outlook and creative thoughts. The second part discusses ideological contents of Yang's parallel prose, and unfolds it from four aspects, state offairs , the military. Person's life, and aesthetics.The third part discusses his artistic achievement which wasembodied mainly in two aspects(vigorous literary style and mature literary form) and analysize its formation reasons.The fourth part discusses Yang's profound influence on the people at that time and later generations. Through the detailed study of the real moral of the empiror Zhenzong prohibition, he is to be proved the model at that time in literary world. Through the analysis of concrete process of Ou Yangxiu reforming xicun style, he is to be demonstrated to act as a bridge of inheriting the past and ushering in the future in the parallel transition from Tang Dynasty to song dynasty.
