On Female Images And Women Awareness In Zhangjie's Novels

Zhangjie is one of the most outstanding women writers at the end of 20th century. Since she began writing, her novels on the themes of "Human" and "love" have been deeply attracted by a lot of readers. Particularly, for her novels showing women's affections and fates, she has always been writing them in her female's awareness perspective. So, there have been many arguments about her novels among the literary circles. At the same time, she has been developing the ways in her art expression and struggling to make her writing style changed continuously. Sometimes, her writing shows smooth and deep love. On occasion it shows absurdity and fantasticality, criticizing humanity disgusting.In this thesis, Zhangjie's female novels can be divided into three stages: Romance and Desire, Bitterness and Reality, and Unconventionality and Mildness.
