| Luling, the famous novelist of the "Qiyue school", who came to Beibei, Sichuan in 1930s because of the Anti-Japan War, had began his writing and got many achievements there. Since there are some relations between his writing and the culture of Sichuan, not many scholars have payed attention on them. In this article, I want to find out the relations so that we can understand Luling and his writings more completely.This paper falls into four parts: In the first part, I try to show the total environment and culture in Beibei, in which Luling stayed for about seven or eight years. In the second part, I analyze the works of Luling in Beibei-time, in order to find out the relations between his works and the Culture of Sichuan Village, and try to explain some concept of Luling, such as the Primordial Power, Beings, and so on. In the third part "Different Village ", comparing the difference between Luling's village of Sichuan and other writers', we can see how Luling understood the culture of Sichuan Village. At last, I put Luling's writing into a more wide area, the influence of foreign literature and the Culture of Nanjing, on the base of which, I summarize the ideas of Luling's on indictment. |
