As a stylized expression form in the art of language, literature shapes itself as a piece of shining scenery by displaying the beauty of art with coloring hands. Literati convey their ideas and feelings through the spread of colors with their exquisite artistic techniques. They bring life to colors and in turns emotionalized colors lead them to the fantabulous world of real life.Colors are widely utilized for the creation of artistic atmosphere and the blending of the inner world with aesthetics. Therefore, it is undoubtedly a quite unique angle to visualize varied esthetic features of the color, to explore the luxury of the literature, and eventually help landing us in a whole new world of art.Base on the comprehensive analysis of the color phenomena in literature and the comparison between the languages of color and painting, the paper describes the spectacular aesthetic characteristics of colors used in literature and explore the engendering and evolving of its aesthetic value from respective focus on the creation and appreciation. The paper also discusses various factors influencing the coloring by assorting to outside literary research.The author argues that the color in literature should be quite different from that in nature or in painting. It is so unique in that it combines the universality that art coveys human feelings with the specificity of its aesthetic effect delivered by literary forms. That is also why it calls for all-around attention to explore this special world.
