The Knowledge Economy And Human's Development

Now, knowledge, after land and capital, has become a kind of elements of production. As a new kind of element, it causes a new way of economic growth and shapes a new formation of economy, that is, knowledge economy. In other words, the knowledge economy is a new formation of economy basing on knowledge which is the leading production element equivalent to agricultural economy and industrial economy. Facing with its approaching, the academicians, domestic or abroad, have been making a wide study in different perspectives. But their work mostly focuses on its superficial effect on social development, without deep investigation in philosophic way. The emergence of knowledge economy brings a thorough transformation in human modes of production, of life and of thought and influences the human's and social development revolutionarily. So we must pull our study forward and deeply, reflecting and pumping it on the level of philosophy, so that we can give our people a principle of understanding this new social formation. Man is the starting point and foundation of social development. So this thesis takes the human's development as beginning of study, from this angle of view, probes into this social formation of knowledge economy with the discussion on relation between the knowledge economy and human's development in the direction of Marxism philosophic methodology. Finally, as far as the writer of this thesis is concerned, it solved the development problem of human in knowledge economic society, which makes us capable of pressing forward in face of challenge in future, creating good condition and sweeping the obstacles for human's development.
