As the two clues of the reform of poetry theory, the affirmation of the true self-feelings and the pursuit of the consistence of speech and writing exist obviously or obscurely in the history of China's ancient poetry theories. The two, especially in the period of the China's ancient poetry theories changing qualitatively, have become the orientation that enables the China's ancient poetry theories to transform into new poetry theories. The poetry theory reforms occurring in the late Ming dynasty, in the Qing dynasty and in Wu Si are the results of intensely acting of the two, in other words, have the consistence during these reforms which are carried out in two flanks that are the true self-feelings and the consistence of speech and writing. To study the consistence of these three poetry theory reforms will help to clear the situation that the new poetry theory is transformed continuously from China's ancient poetry theory. In the late of these reforms, the effects from West only intensify the degree or the speed of the poetry theory reforms and never change two-flank pattern of the reforms. The introduction defines two routes of the poetry theory reforms-one flank oftrue self-feelings and the other flank of the consistence of speech and writing, by differentiating and analyzing some main features and some relevantly different-qualitative factors in the system of the China's ancient poetry theories, and discusses the their existing situation and relation between them.In the first part, the reform of the Late Ming Dynasty's poetry theories is being analyzed.Firstly,in the discussing of the background, it is expounded that the affirmation of the true self-feelings originates hi the theory of Wang Yangming and directly benefits from Li Zhi's rebellions thoughts, and that the pursuit of the consistence of speech and writing is the reaction to the style of modeling after the ancients.Secondly.the display of Yuan Hongdao's "the study of temperament "in the reforms is being emphatically analyzed. Then the ending and significances is being discussed. In the second part, the reform of the Late Qing Dynasty's poetry theories is being analyzed.Firstly, the upsurge hi studying "Jin Wen Jing Xue"has made great effects on the reform that is occurring on the flank of the true self-feelings .The modeling after the ancients, moreover, is the direct result to the pursuit of the consistence of speech and writing. Second, we analyze particularly the situation of these reforms by means of deliberating the poetry theories of Gong Zizhen and Huang Zunxian and so on. Finally, the ending and significances is being discussed. In the third part, the reform of the Wu Si's poetry theories is being analyzed. In the beginning of this part, it is analyzed that the native source and the western elements hi the culture of Wu Si. The Wu Si's poetry theories have mixed the traditions of Chinese and foreign poetry theories together. The elements from western give new features to the reform which is carried out hi Wu Si.In the middle of this part, the situation of those reforms which occurs in two flanks is being studied by means of discussing Shi's theory of "free verse written hi the vernacular" and Quo Moruo's "regarding self-feelings as rhyme". Finally, the ending and significances is being discussed, hi the concluding remarks, the argument is being repeated.
