Design marketing and management, over a long period of time; have been neglected in the system of design educating. However, under the new time, design operating cannot get away from the effectual design management and market test. It has just been researched from the last 1990s in the international design field, and still belongs to the blank at domestic. Although many design companies have investigated and accumulated valid experience at the long-term of operating, the system theories didn't come into being. Under these, I begin to study the Design-marketing and management, and overcome the difficulty of lack of data, try to have some new ideas.Design marketing and management can be divided into two: Design market and Design Items Management. Design Market need to be studied by every designer for adapting the market economy; Design management embodies the effective operation of design items. Design activities can divide large or small specific items operation, its validity refer to operating efficiency and quantity.The first part of the article is Design Marketing: l.The starting point of Design Marketing has four targets- market target, economic target, and social target and development target.2. The Marketing activities of Design enterprise will develop at the overall arrangement of marketing strategy. The starting point of sale activity is the decision-making activity of customer, which analyzes the purchasing behavior of customer and inner or exterior factors of government and enterprise...etc. 3-Design competition strategy contains: the first to design quantity, difference strategy, concentration strategy. Under theprinciples of the competition strategy,marketing organizes design work,communication,list price and channel,and emphasizes the layout of design service facilities.4. The function of design bids in the design market is more and more important. The related laws and strategies also are paid attention.The second part of article structure ,the items management,is a procedure of planning,organizing and managing the mission and resources to complete some a pre-arranged design target,which usually need to satisfy the restrict of time,resources or cost. The item's plan can be very simple,such as the mission and their beginning and editing date on the notebook,or very complex,just like thousands of mission,resources or items needing ascending million dollar budget .Each design activity can be an item operation. However,the item varies widely owing to its complexity,need of resources,different time and risk for completing of work. At ages of emphasizing the time of completion of work,successful management of design item can provide the service for customer on time,and promote the reputation on the market,but not only several percent of penal sum or reward.This text is joined with marketing,managing,designing and many other courses.
