the author argued the forming process of SuShi cTs features and their aesthetic implication, which was turned out through the mutually influence and affect between his thought of ci had a style of its own and his creative practice. This thesis clarified that Su's ci presented a new unique feature, which was not only including the romantic and uncontrolled style and graceful and restrained style. His clear-cut reference and purposely to create ci with poetic composing method brought about his special features. The first chapter analyses the reasons of SuShi took advantage of poet composing method to create ci. According to the objective reason, there was a tendency after the form of scholar ci after later Tang Dynasty, ci converted the showy and superficial style into graceful and implicit one through the efforts of Wen Ting-yun, WeiZhuang, Feng Yan-si, LiYu,YanShu, Ou Yang-xiu, LiuYong and so on. So it was possible that ci could express the mental outlook of the writer just like poetry. According to the subjective reason, SuShi was a learned man who had very profound thought and a lifetime of frustrations. This caused SuShi realized that ci was a unique lyric form, which could be implicit and tactful in express emotion. Therefore, SuShi made an all-round poetize ci from more bread implication. It was the clear-out reference that made Su's success in poetize ci. From those two factors, SuShi reformed ci form. Firstly, he combated the popular showy and superficial style of LiuYong etc. Then he raised his proposal of ci was unique in its style according to his practice in Mizhou. After the WuTai poetry incident and the five years relegating life in HuangZhou, his idea became ripe. InSuShi's opinion, poetry and ci had the same origin. So ci could had a Far-reaching ideal state, which came from the interaction between the broad atmosphere and deep sigh with emotion. The ideal state made ci fine style. There were three component parts demonstrated how SuShi poetized ci. Firstly, he used traditional poetic subjects composed ci to express the writer's real life and his ambition. Secondly, he learned from traditional poetic technique of expression, such as comments, credit line, literary quotations and so on. Thirdly, he invented a perfect combination between poetic flavors and ci sentiment. The combination made SuShi's ci filled with affected pathos. All the factors above separated ci from the dependent position of music and achieved it own independence. In fact, SuShi's thought of ci was unique in its style and the creative practice to poetize ci were the two aspects of the same matter. To be unique was not only the goal of poetizing ci, but also was its theoretical foundation. To poetize ci was the concrete reflection and practical basement of c/'s unique style. The two aspects are supplementary to each other and make SuShi's ci so successful.
