Wei-Jin Dynasty is a period in which people valued their life consciousness. This thesis intends to reveal the life consciousness of Tao Yuanming from the following two aspects: political ideal (lluiheqianli) and personality ideal (Zhixingziran). The word of reedom?embodies the freedom of personality and the freedom of willpower access to success. In Tao Yuanming poems and prose, the words of ature~~, enuineness?and reedom?are interlinked, and the word of ature?contains three meanings, namely ego, freedom and the world of nature. Tao Yuanming overcame constraints and sufferings and made his life meaningful by perfecting himself so as to return to the nature.
