On October 9, 2008, Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio who has dual nationality for French and Mauritius won the 2008 Nobel Prize for Literature. Vagabondage is the eternal theme of Mr. Le Clézio's composition. This article mainly divided into three parts to discuss. First, show Le Clézio's concerns about the "vagabondage" theme by analyzing his works. Second, combining with the works of Le Clézio, analyze what problems and disadvantages of consumer society can be reflected from this topic.
