Orientation concept is closely related to human life.It is an important concept in modern Chinese and occupies a specific location.It is an important component of modern Chinese grammar . In modern Chinese, the spatial concept of the expression often by the spatial words. Spatial words are a small number of words, but the high frequency of use. Because of the consistency of human thought and language to express the national character, making the spatial orientation of various languages both an expression of the same side, but also showed the different sides. All along, the people bearing the words study focused on the Chinese identity, the right orientation of Chinese words as a second language acquisition research,especially for minority students in Chinese language acquisition research orientation relative lack of the words. Therefore, this article will focus on the relevant principles of cognitive linguistics, exploring the words acquisition of Chinese rules by ethnic minority students in Xinjiang, and reviewing the word problems of minority students in the process of acquisition, and analyzing the cognitive characteristics on their acquisition of spatial words to explain the acquisition of deep-seated reasons for the performance to reveal the law in order to provide Chinese language teaching for reference basis. The article is divided into five chapters:An Introduction to explain topics of origins and significance of this article, the theory which the article based on, research methods and the selection of the survey were explained.The first chapter,reviews in brief the modern Chinese studies and Chinese bearing the words ontology as a second language.ChapterII,through natural corpus and questionnaire survey method of combining analysis of ethnic minority students of Chinese acquisition of spatial words.ChapterIII, from the perspective of cognitive and psychological thinking, bearing words of Chinese ethnic minority students conducted a theoretical analysis of acquisition.Chapter Four,from the typology point of view discusses the characteristics of spatial words from the angel of second language learning.In conclusion,gave a brief summary of the article and pointed out the weaknesses and some issues that will be further study.
