The Research On Multimedia-Interaction Design Based On Graphical Interface

The research puts focus on a cross field of multimedia design, interaction design and interface design. In combination with practical experience of multimedia design, the thesis generalizes the basic rules and design essentials of multimedia-interaction design on the base of theory of user interface design, design psychology, ergonomics, usability engineering and other relative subjects.Chapter 2 and 3 defines media, multimedia and the differences between them. Besides, these two chapters analysis on the concept, basic, psychological mechanism and several characteristics of interaction. These two chapter also generalize design elements of multimedia-interaction design. Chapter 4 lists some theories of relative subjects. Chapter 5 classifies multimedia-interaction design, and analysis on the process of every type. By studying the theories and combining the practical experience of multimedia design, the author puts forwards on the basic rules and design essentials of multimedia-interaction design which based on graphical interface. Chapter 6 researches into two design cases on the basic of that design rules. In Chapter 7, the author tests the usability of the two cases. By observing, testing and questionnaire, the research finds the problems and advantages of these cases. Based on the contrast of the reason of these problems and design rules, the thesis confirms that those design rules are correct and feasible.In the end of this thesis, the author makes the conclusion that the basic rules of multimedia-design based on graphical interface includes user experience-centered, easy structure, appropriate information quantity and continuous interaction. Besides, the thesis generalizes some design essentials about interaction environment, interaction way and interaction elements.
