The Power Of Derivation-from Art To Art Dervivatves

This paper aims to systematically analyze and sort out the origins, history and current situation of art derivatives, to analyze the background and reasons of the progression from art to art derivatives, and to analyze its impact on economy, culture and art itself.The first part of the text expounds the basic situation of art derivative. First this part expounds the relevant concepts of art derivatives and research scope, and sums up its creative technique and classification on basis of the former. This part also summarizes the characteristics of art derivatives, and discusses the copyright problem of art derivatives.The second part of the text deals with the progression from art works to art derivatives from both macro perspective and micro perspectives. First it analyses the conceptual basic of formation of art derivatives, taking time longitudinal axis as clues. Next this part probes the realistic foundation and the reasons of art derivatives formation from a cross-section perspective. Then from microcosmic perspective, this part presents an analysis of how a specific work of art turns to an art derivative. The third part summarizes the influence art derivatives have on economy, culture ,art and art creation。The last part discusses some problems facing art derivatives and some issues deserving special attention.Taking art derivatives as the breakthrough point and carrier, this thesis explores such current hot topics of industry concern as "artistic adaptation", "cross-border cooperation" and so on.
