Domenico Scarlatti (1685-1757) is an outstanding Italian harpsichord player and composer in the 18th century.This paper mainly tries to analyze Scarlatti's keyboard sonata's playing techniques and style through four of his keyboard sonatas (K.119, K.120,K.121, K.122) in order to help music lovers and players understand and grasp his musical style and playing characteristics of keyboard sonatas.This paper is organized as follow:The first chapter states Scarlatti's life and musical style. The second chapter analyzes Scarlatti's four keyboard sonatas works which are K.119, K.120, K.121, K.122. The third chapter analyzes and summarizes Scarlatti's playing style in the four sonatas and makes some explorations in the aspects.
