The Study On The Historiography Of Tangut

The Tangut was existed for a long time in history.lt had made important values in history.So, it is very important to study the Historiography of Tangut for the whole history of Historiography of Chinese.In this paper, we discuss the development of the Historiography of Tangut from three parts:the start of the Historiography of Tangut, Chinese Materials of Tangut and the develop the Historiography of Tangut. The studies have shown that the Historiography of Tangut was developed in two routes.The first is the development of the Historiography of Tangut in itself, the second is the development of the Historiography of Tangut in Chinese Historiography.Xixia Words poems contain a wealth of information on social history, which can cross-reference with Chinese Materials, and Chinese Materials is also are the main source of the study for the Historiography of Tangut.They contain hero historiography,the understanding of the same ancestors,the concept of national independence.From Sui dynasty, the Historiography of Tangut was depended on Chinese Historiography.Since 70s, the Historiography of Tangut was studied as an individual.
