Blue And Yellow Dialogue

The poetics of Plato and Confucius have adopted the dialogue, this dialogue has a great fit between ethical and spiritual dimension, which also makes the two poetics have a comparable side. This paper, by comparative study of speech of the poetics of Plato and Confucius, is to explore the differences between two kinds of poetics' thinking patterns and deepen the understanding of East-West forms of literary theory.My dissertation is constituted by three parts—introduction, main part, conclusion. In the introduction, I will introduce the issue discussed in this article, including the topics of the reason, Analysis of previous studies, this research perspective. It focuses on emphasizing the need for comparison of two poetics'statement.The main part of the paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is to explore the speech of Plato's poetics, mainly to explore four characteristics of the speech of Plato's poetics:dialogue, dialectic, drama and poetry, and analysis of the mechanisms of thinking of Plato's poetics speech. This chapter borrows the concept of blue speech, used to summarize the speech features of poetics of Plato in the blue cultural circles. The second chapter will explore the speech of Confucius'poetics, mainly to explore three characteristics of the speech of Confucius'poetics:soliloquy, feeling power of understanding and practical, analysis of the mechanisms of thinking of Confucius' poetics speech. This chapter borrows the concept of yellow speech, used to summarize the speech features of Confucius' poetics in the yellow cultural circles. The third chapter compares the speech of poetics of Plato and Confucius, to explore differences between two kinds of poetics' thinking, mainly from two aspects of the comparative analysis:The first is from the fit of Plato and Confucius poetics thinking:ethical and spiritual dimension. The second is from three distinctions of Plato and Confucius poetics thinking, namely:the presence and absence, speculation and sentiment, metaphysics and metaphysical. The fourth chapter mainly explores the causes and impact of two kinds of speech of poetics. Openly national character, Dionysus and Apollo's thinking, outward-looking attitude impact on the speech of Plato's poetics in the blue cultural circles, which form a dialogue, speculation and poetic thinking mechanism. Legal cases, nature and man's thinking, inward-looking attitude impact on the speech of Confucius' poetics in the yellow cultural circles, which form a monologue, insights and practical thinking mechanism. The characteristics of dialogue and speculative of Plato's poetics have a major impact on literary theory on the later. The characteristics of practical reason of Confucius' poetics laid a pragmatic tone for the Chinese poetics.The conclusion of the paper is a summary of two kinds of poetics. The speech of poetics of Plato and Confucius is representative of the East-West poetics'statement, the two poetics' statement have different characteristics, reflect the difference between East-West forms of literary theory.
