Wittgenstein And China: Domestic Anti-essentialilsm Debate In The Field Of Literature And Art

The rise and arguments of anti-essentialism literature and art discourse have been academic concerns in recent years, affecting a wide range of academic discussion. First, it mainly relates to the issue of the construction of literary subject. With later discussion, it gradually expands the scope, deep into contemporary Chinese literature and art on the core issue of discourse structure. At the bottom of theoretical foundation debate lies the anti-essentialist philosophy and aesthetics, providing a theoretical and ideological functions for the debate of literature and art. Wittgenstein thought plays an indispensable role in this debate. Given the complexity of Wittgenstein thought, this paper, mainly discusses the thoughts of Wittgenstein which influences and is closely related to China, thus promoting the debate of anti-essentialist in the field of literature and art.This article is divided into three parts. Through the comparison of Chinese and Western and review the later period of Aesthetics of Wittgenstein, the first part overviews background of anti-essentialism debate of China's literary aesthetics, highlighting the academic value of this article and practical relevance. In the second part, the discussion goes deep into "linguistic games","family resemblance", "forms of life" and other key concepts of Wittgenstein later thought, and analyze these ideas misunderstanding in China, strive to eliminate schools' misunderstanding.During the third part, according to the Wittgenstein later thoughts, anti-essentialism debate in China is reviewed, which is expected to promote contemporary Chinese literature and art towards a more healthy and peaceful path of development.
