Zhou Qufei's Ling Wai Dai Da is a famous record book about Guangxi local customs. The concern scholars paid in the past on the Ling Wai Dai Da is not deep enough, even if aware of its academic value, but also many of its researches are in the value of history, in fact, from an anthropological perspective, Ling Wai Dai Da is also an ancient Chinese classic works of anthropology, since the 19th century, Anthropology as an independent discipline was born in Western countries, then was introduced into China in the early 20th century. It has been considered "Borrowed discipline." However, in fact, we have our own discipline of origin, it also attracted the attention of scholars. On this basis, the proposed around the Ling Wai Dai Da conducted a study with an experimental, that is, from an anthropological perspective to interpret the Ling Wai Dai Da to explore its anthropological value, and Chinese traditional origin of the subject, as well as its unique path of development in China.The government had to pay more attention on the southern part of China after losing the most northern parts. It is also concerning the present research about the title.Second part makes a textual research of Zhou Qufei's official career, as well as the historical background.The third part is the generation of the ridge of anthropological interpretation. In this part, the author find the object of study, the research contents, the research methods and research position on the ridge such five aspects of the generation of a reading.The fourth part is conclusion. First on the book attributes are analyzed as Chinese ancient ethnography works. Ling Wai Dai Da has local gazetteer, notes and anthropology three attributes, has distinct Chinese characteristics.
