The problem of the racial and origin of Xian Yu Tribes, it is the focus of debate in the academic community. The paper provides a study on the racial, origin of Xian Yu Tribes and the migrating to east ethnic of Bai Di. On the basis of the research results of the senior scholars, this paper makes a detailed study on the problem from two aspects of literature and archaeological materials. From the aspect of literature,first of all, a textual research on the Western Zhou dynasty of Di Race-“Xian Yu”,,I think that “Xian Yu” in Zhengyu of Guoyu is non-existent, and the “Xian Yu” is a excuse by later generations.The Second, on the basis of Chunqiu, Zuozhuan, to tease out the microscopic evidence. It is evidences that “the migrating to east ethnic of Bai Di” and “Xian Yu tribes is the ethnic of Bai Di branch”. A textual research on the origin of the name and the birthplace, for the “Xian Yu”, “Fei” as the ethnic of Bai Di branch.From the aspect of archaeological materials, the paper mainly comparison the culture remains between Kingdom Xian Yu Zhong Shan and Di Race in the Shanxi province Xin Zhou Basin. Analyse funeral system and the typical grave goods from two region,obtain a large number of common cultural factors, this two tribes belong to the ethnic of Bai Di. Therefore, it is true the migrating to east ethnic of Bai Di. But from the different shape of bronze fu cauldron and gag bit, the two areas there is a clear distinction in archaeological cultures. In summary, the culture remains of Kingdom Xian Yu and Zhong Shan was left from Xian Yu tribes, which is the ethnic of Bai Di branch. The remain of Di Race in the Xin Zhou basin was left from the Dai Di tribes,which is led by Wu Zhong tribes and the ethnic of Bai Di branch.
