Taste as an important area of Western aesthetics, its research can be described as a long time. With further research, the field has gradually expanded from the aesthetics to sociology, and many other aspects. As a sociologist, Pierre Bourdieu's study of the taste with a unique vision of sociology. He made the taste as a sign of class segmentation, through the introduction of the "capital" and "habitus" ,construction of the taste into their academic system make a systematic exposition and analysis.That the formation of taste depends on the class status of their own capital condition. The amount of capital, the structure and trajectory is to build the main basis of social stratification, the structural homology exists between taste and social space.Taste segment that is a class segmentation.Segment as taste as the law not only has the social, historical, integrity, stability and mobility features ,more profound symbolic significance of the taste by the ruling class as a symbolic violence ,be implementation on the potential power of the ruling class rule.Symbol of power (symbolic violence) is the most profound value of the taste segment..It diverts the attention of the ruling class, taste is mistake the existence of a super-utilitarian then recognition and maintenance of the existing social order. Taste segment for us to reveal the real potential power,made us have a more profound understanding of class rule.
