The culture of filial duty is an important component in traditional Chinese culture, and is also the essence and basis of confusion. The study of this culture attaches great significance to understand Confucianism. As a systematic, theoretical, system of filial piety, "Book of Filial Piety" developed its own unique theory of filial piety on the basis of inheriting and developing the rich Confucian filial piety.As one of the Thirteen Classics of Confucianism, "Book of Filial Piety" is shortest in length, but attached great attention immediately after the establishment of Han Dynasty. Han rulers, for the first time proposed the "Filial" law to rule the land, which made filial duty as the typical characteristics in political and social life. This change was provided with profound historical origins, social background and the full realization of the actual expression. Since then, the idea of filial piety walked into the countrys political, social and cultural life, thereby great changes have taken place in the characteristics of filial piety.The concept of filial piety in Early Han Dynasty inherited and developed a rich filial Confucian thought, which gradually developed a unique theory. It not only has the theoretical form but also the political guidance which provides possibilities for the rulers to practice the filial piety theory. The Han thinkers extended and expanded the contents of filial piety for political rule, they put forward many new concepts of filial piety, expanding the extension of filial piety, and one obvious change is from a family ethic of filial piety to the theory of social ethics changes. Which makes moral piety into a pan of social ethics, at the same time, the Han rulers vigorously promote filial piety. They aim not merely to protect the family, the clans blood stability, but the ultimate goal of "filial piety as a shift loyalty", so that the rules of ethics serve for political means; therefore, the whole theory of "filial piety as a shift loyalty" is the core of the Han Dynasty.
