In this paper, I select the Hexi region in Ming and Qing Dynasties as the study object, on the basis of local historical information, according to analyse and conclude relative datas, in rder to summarize the develoption state of the Taoism and the Folk beliefs, to discuss the people's spiritual life at a given time and place.Through local historical information, we can get some Taoist golds were adored worshipped wideiy, such as Zhenwu, Sanguan,Yuhuang and Guandi, and so on. At the same time, folk beliefs gods such as Longwang, Yaowang and Chenghuang become more and more popular in this locality. Judging from inscriptions, it's contents mostly reflected the efficacious phenomenon of gods, these efficacious tracts of gods including blessing grain harvest,blessing people's healthy, blessing frontier peace, all these are closely related to people's productive life at that time.By the analysis and revelation of inscriptions, author elaborate the characters of folk beliefs and the relationship between the Taoism and the folk beliefs in Hexi region.
