| This paper studies about the comparison of similar prepositions between Chinese and Vietnamese languages. They are " chu " and " chu le " vs. " ngoai " and " tru ", "wei" and "wei le" vs. "vi/do/tai/boi/nho" which show reasons, and "de/de khoi/ cho/sao cho" which show purposes in Vietnamese language. Both languages commonly use the expression of excluding, adduct, reason and purpose. Although Vietnamese language was affected by Chinese language, both languages have some differences in the expression and structure. Prepositions in both languages are generally complicated; therefore it's a difficulty for foreign students in learning Chinese, including Vietnamese students. This paper mainly analyzes the semantic, syntactic structure and the errors made by the Vietnamese students in using the prepositions mentioned above.This paper explains the semantic and analyzes the syntactic structure of the prepositions of both languages, and found out their differences in expression and structure. In addition, this paper also analyzes the errors made by the Vietnamese students in using the prepositions "chu/chu le/wei/wei le". Those errors can be grouped into 4 types, error by missing, error by substitute, error by adding and error by wrong sequence. From there, concluded the features of the errors, and reinforce the analysis of the factor why the errors occurred. Finally, some teaching suggestions were made according to the research. |
