Li Qingzhao was a quite important writer and essayist of Ci-poetry who earned high reputation in the ancient Chinese literary history. The thesis focuses on Li Qingzhao's thought of Ci-poetry with the combination of theory and practice based on Ci theory and Ci writing. It comprises of five chapters. Chapter one reviews the historical background of Li Qingzhao's Ci-poetry. Chapter two analyzes the distinction of Ci and poem. Li Qingzhao held the idea of "uniqueness of Ci-poetry" respecting the uniqueness of Ci and making distinction of poem and Ci. Her idea was confirmed by the creating strategy of showing ambitions by poem and expressing emotion by Ci. Chapter three focus on the rythm and elegance of Ci. Li Qingzhao emphasized on the rhythm which is the essential mark to distinct Ci from poem. She pursued the elegance and solemnity of Ci. Chapter four analyzes Li Qingzhao's art perfection which used historical facts with detailed narration to pursue the circumstance of fragility. The last chapter emphasizes on the influence of Li Qingzhao's though of Ci-poetry.
