| With China's gate opening policy, since 1990's, popular culture has been rising faster and faster hence had a huge impact on the layout of politics and mainstream culture dominated cultural market. As we entered 21th century the usage of internet has been growing more and more popular and the internet oriented multicultural layout has been shaped accordingly.The popularity of Shanzhai culture has risen many disputes and discussions. Most of them translated Shanzhai culture into pirated culture or culture revolution. During my research, the inventor of Shanzhai culture has no intention or behavior of culture revolution or knowledge property invasion. It's just an imitation based on admiration. This imitation bears the demands in grassroot class in pursuing entertainment and social acknowledgement.On the other hand, although without revolution, Shanzhai culture has caused the effect of culture revolution, there is the suspection of revoluted.In this case, Shanzhai culture has caused the misplace and crack in the meaning between deliverer and receiver. This is the new discovery in this researchOne of the biggest innovation in this research is it adopted the visions from both deliverer and receiver. It analyzed and researched the complete culture production and consumption process from culture buildup, content, channel and culture consumption. From research methods point of view, this article utilized the combination of individual case study and indepth interview. It first analyzed the root and basic phenomenon of Shanzhai culture and picked sample cases to make indepth study based on that. Later on study the intention of communicator based on the text content of Shanzhai culture. Secondly due to the special character of culture study, this article chose the most characterized case and people to do indepth interview, and gained deeper meaning of culture production and communication through talks. |
