Pragmatic Analysis On Abbreviation Of Loyal Oracle Inscriptions Of The Shang Dynasty

The study on Chinese abbreviation has been the topic to which the linguistics has paid attention for long time. The study has developed from the angles of static semantics and grammar to pragmatics. This essay trys to analyze from the view of pragmatics the creation mechanism of some abbreviation of Loyal oracle inscriptions of the Shang Dynasty in the affect of oracle-bone in language communication and information transmission. The primary intention of this essay is to form the correct understanding of the effect the oracle-bone affected on abbreviation and to promote further understanding of oracle-bone.The study of pragmatics involves in many aspects, the analysis of this essay mainly includes the following aspects.In the introduction, the essay introduces the development of abbreviation study by domestic language scholars, the the study of the grammar and use of oracle inscriptions. In the end of tthe introduction, the essay explains the goal and significance of the study and the selection of the material and method. In the second part, the essay discusses the abbreviation from the angles of abbreviation of examples, abbreviation of syntactic component and abbreviation of clause sentence. In the third part, combined with examples, the essay inspects the deep agent in both subjective and objective. In the fourth part, from the angle of information structure it analyzes the reasons for information abbreviation. In the fifth part, obtains from Focal Theory it inspects the relations with abbreviation.
