The sexual attraction is a myth that been highlight by psychologist. Many researchers raised the theory about sexual attraction, among these theories, "The Ideal Standards Model" is the core theory in this paper. As agued in this model, whether a man has sexual attractiveness or not is depend on other's thought about how should a ideal standards be. Having sexual attractiveness can basically separated into three aspect, which is healthy and strong, a high social class and wealth, potential of investment as a parent. The man who is fit for these standard will be judged as" full of sexual attractiveness ".On the other hand, clothes can strongly change the level of one's sexual attractiveness. Some researcher argued that the "sexual selection" is equal to the conception of "aesthetic selection" among human beings, and clothes can play an important role in "aesthetic selection". The research from the psychology of clothes shows a phenomenon as "Best sight", in this point, the clothes is designed up to human body, the attention which is attracted by clothes will focus on the chest of one who wear the very clothes. According to these three theory, In this research, we divided the sexual attractiveness into three parts which is evolved from " The Ideal Standards Model". The variable of clothes (is suit in this case) is also chosen as the part of clothes which is in "Best sight". In the experiment of this research, I choose the Implicit Association Test (short for IAT) as the method. The goal of this research is based on discover the relationship between the style of suit and the attractiveness of the wearer appears. The part of discussion is based on the theories in evolution psychology. In this research, I separated the suit into some important part which may be influent the attractiveness of wearer specially the collar, tie and waist design. The standard of attractiveness as a man in this research is chosen from " The Ideal Standards Model", redefined as strength, wealth, high social class, and family sense of responsibility. These four aspect of attractiveness are linked to the different parts of suit in the IAT. What I want to know is the relationship between the design of collar, wearing a tie or not, waist designing and wear's appearance of strength, wealth, social class and family sense of responsibility. This research is composed of two basic parts. The first part of this research is played as the assistant study. In this part I choose 22 people in second year of grad school as the participants, using the method of word frequency analysis to choose the lexical stimulus in IAT. As the result of this part of study,24 words are confirmed to be the lexical stimulus in IAT.The second part of research can be separated into two steps. In the first step, I chose 43(41 in 43 are valid participant) female participants randomly in Southwest University by internet enlist, using the words which have been chosen in the first part of research and the pictures which were modified as the stimulus in IAT. The tool of this step's experiment is an IAT program which is designed by myself with the software called "Inquisit3.0". The second step is chosen 19 doctors and nurses and 13 administrative staff in hospital as the sample of professional women participant and doing the same experiment. This step is aimed at revealing the differences and similarities between female colleague students and professional women in this very same experiment. The conclusion of my research turned out as follow:1.The style of man's suit can influence the female's implicit attribute about wear's sexual attractiveness.2.Short collar suite express the wearer's strength better than long collar one, the IAT effect is distinctive in the experiment (p<.005)3.A suit with the tie can express the wearer's wealth and high social class better than a suit without the tie, the IAT effect is distinctive in the experiment(p<.005)4.There is no clue that the waist design can influence the expression of wearer's family sense of responsibility.5.The female colleague students appear to show the implicit attitude about "straight suit" can help the wearer to express the strength trait(p<.005),but the professional women sample didn't show that result.6.To compare female colleague students' sample to professional women's sample. The wearing of tie is strongly linked to the expression of wear's high social class, and this link is stronger in the sample of professional women(p<.005).This research proved the fact that the style of man's suit influenced the women's attitude about the wear's sexual attractiveness. Using the clothes as the independent variable make this research jumped out of the tradition that just use the body sharp or facial feature to research on sexual attraction. In this paper, we discussed whether the important parts of suit can influence the sexual attractiveness of wears, at this point, it is a new path of thought to study psychology of clothes. On the other hand, IAT was used in this research, it strongly proofed that the experiment in strict controlled condition can be a method of psychology work of clothes. It is also explored the field which can use IAT as a method.
