| Firstly, this paper summarizes that the general researches of Yu Dafu's works since he published his first novel in 1921.It mainly summarizes the achievements of Yu Dafu on the creative psychological analysis during 30 years that form 80's of last century till now. and describes the general phenomenon of Yu Dafu's novels. This text analyzes why these psychological phenomenon become inevitable in his works.In the second chapter of this paper, we will see some consistent psychological phenomenon in his works through reading his works intensively. Love,depression and loneliness are the forever fundamental tone of his works. This chapter not only pointes out the main psychological characteristics of Yu Dafu's works, but also analyzes that Yu Dafu uses what's kind of strategies to make his novels display such psychological phenomenon. For instance, his description of inferiority psychology, it reflected by woman, wine, and dream.The third chapter is the core part of this paper. It mainly makes a systematic analysis of Yu Dafu's psychological phenomenon presented in the second chapter. The first section of this chapter mainly analyzes the inferior mentality with Adler's theory. Yu Dafu's sick body and inferiority character are the reasons of his inferiority writing.The second section firstly uses Freud's literary perspective to analyze the bisexual theme. And then uses Freud's death instinct theory to analyze the mortality of his works. In the third section, Yu Dafu likes expressing his loneliness in his writing, which is related to social times and his disease experience. The last section analyzes the important elements of his character forming, such as his special family structure,childhood experience,memory and the experience of studying in Japan.The themes: death,bisexual,inferiority and loneliness in his novels, which are related to his experience. The romantic stories of Yu Dafu works, they include deeper implication behind of them. In fact, the description of prostitutes is the complaints of social injustice and social oppression of youth in his works. |
