| The Chu-Dynasty Bamboo slips of Warring States collected by Shanghai Museum (Vol.7) was published by Ancient Books Publishing House in Shanghai in December,2008(hereinafter referred to as Bamboo slips Seven). It consists of nine parts, Wuwangjianzuo(《æ¦çŽ‹è·µç¥šã€‹),Zhengzijiasang(《é„å家丧(甲,乙本)》),Junrenzhehebianzai(《å›äººè€…何必安哉(甲,乙本)》),Fanwuliuxing(《凡物æµå½¢(甲,乙本)》),Wuming(《å´å‘½ã€‹)With the Bamboo slips Six unearthed, it brings out heated discussion on philology, philosophy, literature, history and textology. The thesis is composed of three parts:The first part has made a brief introduction about the Collection of Chu Bamboo Works (7th) of the Warring States Period in Shanghai Museum. The study and explanation of the characters, bamboo slips editing, the value of the literature as well as its ideology are included. In the second part, all the characters were edited by a list and were collated with an exhaustive approach. It contains examples, the main body of character editing (volume1-14,), Hewen, Repetition Incompletion, Addendum, Citation index, reference documentation. The third part has the expalanation and brief notes for the all works.Listing words principle:The characters are classified by the patterns according to the categories from An Analytical Dictionary of Characters (Daxu version). Also some characters were listed after similar radicals if not included by the dictionary. The headers of characters usually have three parts:regular script, lesser seal script and to-be-fixed characters.Ancient Character pattern principle:"The radicals fixed approach" is used for clear ones while "the strokes fixed approach" is used for ambiguious ones.Context Enactment principle:Simplified characters are all supplemented with the examples and their lengths are depended on the context, which are easy to use. With the attitude of seeking truth from facts, the author emphasizes on absorbing the previous research findings, never farfetches the characters judgementally and takes a sceptical attitude towards the unrecgonized charaters during the thesis writing. |
