A Study On Thought Of Interpreting The Dai Zhen's Interpretation Of Mencius Concepts

Interpretation of Mencius concepts is a book which was written by Dai Zhen who has assertorically received the true meaning of Mencius. But in fact,Mencius has gained the independence, as a result of the linguistic environment change,thus readers no longer possibly obtain Mencius's original intention. On this premise, this paper will explore how Dai Zhen annotated Mencius,and the final basis of the annotation.It will inevitably involve the problem of understanding method,while later generation's readers understand the text of independence. Through the analysis, this paper thinks Dai Zhen mainly used two methods, when he annotated Mencius, namely,the linguistic interpretation and the annotation of individual journey,and respectively explores the reason of adopting these two methods,and the performance in Interpretation of Mencius concepts.How to use the linguistic interpretation and the annotation of individual journey to explore Mencius, is one of the focuses of this paper. By analyzing How to annotate the theory of original goodness of human nature of Mencius,this paper explains how to use of the linguistic interpretation methods to make the theory of original goodness of human nature of Mencius which argues that good nature should be explained from the perspective of good heart understood that the pursuit of virtue was the natural property of human perception ,and how to use of the annotation of individual journey methods to make Mencius's the return of the simple humanity understood as a process of Continuously understanding the nature of things by Dai Zhen.The formation of Dai Zhen's Mencius Ideology thought depends on methods of annotating Mencius,but the question is whether annotation methods themselves are independent, which is the focus of this paper. By analyzing how to annotate heavenly principle, metaphysics, and physics with linguistic interpretation method,this paper argues that the linguistic interpretation method itself does not have independence, which is carried out under the guidance of thought. Dai Zhen's thought is based on the doctrine of the same origin of mind and body which emphasizes the implementation of the natural desire. The reason that Dai Zhen stresses the implementation of the natural desire comes from special background and personal life experiences. This is also the ultimate basis of interpreting Mencius.
