The study results show:1. The self-designed questionnaire of the factors which affect postgraduate stress shows good reliability and validity. The questionnaire involves four factors: interpersonal relationship stress, employment and self-development stress, self-efficacy stress, academic stress and stress from scientific research.2. Factors about psychological stress can be ranked as the following based on their magnitude:academic stress and stress from scientific research, employment and self-development stress, self-efficacy stress and interpersonal relationship stress.3.The features of how these postgraduate stress make themselves shown are: academic stress and stress from scientific research is the first and foremost stress source for postgraduates, particularly for the students in the fourth or fifth grade who have the strongest feelings of the stress; difference can be found in the aspect of interpersonal relationship stress for postgraduates of different sexes with that male students feel it more difficult to handle interpersonal relationship problems; compared with the postgraduates who have work experiences, those who have none of these are under more employment and self-development stress; postgraduates face more academic stress and stress from scientific research as party members or more interpersonal relationship stress as non-party members.4. Postgraduates'psychological disposition for perfectionism is above average in general, in which "organization" and "individual standard" is high in level and demands from parents are below average.5.For the parents who live in the city, county-level city and town, or the city and town below county level, the demands are higher than those of the parents who live in the countryside; the scores of younger postgraduates'individual standard are higher than those of older postgraduates; the postgraduates whose parents'marital status is terrible have higher scores than those whose parents'status is good and just on average in the aspect of concerning for making mistakes; the postgraduates whose parents'marital status is good have higher scores than those whose parents' status is terrible and just on average in the aspect of demands from parents.6. There obviously exists a strong positive relation between postgraduate stress and perfectionism; among various factors of perfectionism, concern for making mistakes, demands from parents and individual standard level are put in proper order in the regression equation in which stress is the dependent variable and those three are the major factors which influence postgraduate stress. The factor of concerning making mistakes has the highest degree in influence.
