About the research for the Korean War, the Chinese historians are mostly concentrated on the Chinese government's policy of war and the achieved results, and analysis from the military lessons; Most of the academic study of world history on the national policy of Korean War and the relationship between the states, American History pays more attention to the policy of the United States to the Korean War However, there was little specialized presentation to the Korean War UN. This article hopes to collect information as widely as possible to fill the weak point. This article is divided into five chapters to discuss the United Nations forces during the Korean War. The first chapter simply discusses the international situation and the situation in Northeast Asia before the outbreak of the Korean War. After World War two,"Cold War"had formed, and the Korean peninsula became the product of the US—Soviet confrontation between the two sides. The fate of the Korean peninsula was influenced by the background of"Cold War". The Korean Peninsula was in the middle of the China and Japan and it began to receive all the attention. The fate of the Korean peninsula was becoming complicated and confusing, U.S. and the USSR began to enter the Korean Peninsula, which directly led to the tense situation on the Korean peninsula and the Korean War outbreak. The"military demarcation line"in the Military demarcation laid the seeds for the outbreak of the Korean War and became the decisive factor for the situation of the Korean Peninsula and its profound influence lasts until today. The second chapter discusses the U.S. response to the Korean War. The opposition of the Capitalism and Communism ideology and the social system, the United States searching for world hegemony and the practical needs of the environmental impact of the U.S. and so on, making South Korean a"model of democracy"built in East Asia. The United States also recognized that it was important to support the South Korea. Therefore, when the gunfire sounded on the Korean peninsula, the United States sent troops to Korea to aid South Korea. The third chapter focused on the United Nation Forces'appearance. The so-called"United Nation Forces"is an invasion force which was manipulated by the U.S. authorized by the UN. In fact, it was mainly the U.S. troop. This"United Nations Forces"was formed by the 16 combat troop of United States, Australia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Canada, France, the Philippines, Turkey, Thailand, South Africa, Greece, Belgium, Luxembourg, Colombia, Ethiopia, and 5 medical team of Sweden, India, Denmark, Norway and Italy. The British government's basic policy about the Korean War was to strive to use its influence on the United States to prevent the expansion and upgrading of the conflict and to seek and promote a political settlement of the Korean issue. The Soviet Union did not timely return to the Security Council and made the U.S. free to use this tool for its decision-making. It was because of the above reasons, the U.S. soon involved in the Korean War, and China had sent volunteers for the Korean War and played a central role. The fourth chapter discusses in detail the UN troops on the Korean battlefield. Under the control of the United States it adopted a series of strategies and tactics, which would not change the outcome. The Korean War lasted three years, and the UN forces paid a heavy price. 57606 people were killed, 115183 people were injured, 6973 people were missing and captured, a total of 179762 people. The last chapter makes a brief introduction of the UN Forces Armistice. Around the army prisoners of war, the United States and North Korea made a negotiation as long as two years. Eventually we can see that which U.S. cannot get at the negotiating table is bound to get on the battlefield. If there is not considerable military strength to compete with it and gets victory on the battlefield, in order to bargain at the negotiating table is impossible. The military struggle is always subordinate to the political struggle.
