The Comparison Between Nyingma Pa's Great Perfection And Zen

Nyingma pa is the oldest one of Tibetan Buddhism sect.Since Zen entering Tibet until now, Nyingma pa's "Great Perfection" still has a distinguished tradition foreign to indigenous Zen.It has great of significance.This paper summarized the Zen monks' activities in the Tubo, and the close relationship between Nyingma pa and Zen, compared Nyingma pa's "Great Perfection" and Zen from aspect of view and practice.Using research technique of the comparison religious study ,starting from the concrete concept, analysing from several aspects :the most basic category, the disposition intrinsic structure , heart's category and ultimate meaning of mind-nature theory ,putting emphasis on elaboratingt similarities and differences which the two theory essence the disposition discusses. Expounding the similarities and differences in the consciousness way of "Great Perfection"and Zen from aspect of pro-condition of practice and consciousness ,sudden realization and gradual realization, basic method of practice etc.Hoping expecting to deepen the understanding of the two theory and the practice , promoting the Great Perfection and the zen thought further development.
