How to deal with the cultural traditions, is one of the core issues for China to face during the period from"the tradition to modern".In the late Qing Dynasty, a number of high ideas not only attempted to re-interpret the cultural tradition and find the direction for China in political circles, but also there emerged a group of man keeping the soul of academics who were concerned with the inhabitation and transformation of Chinese culture. In the vicissitude process during the 20th century of China history, the traditional culture resembled several times the bitter experience and the serious attack, however in the times of 80-90, with the surge of"the cultural fever"and"the national studies raising",all the people participated in it, the traditional culture made a fresh start to join in the modernized China's construction as a new kind of historical resource. Historical novel "Bai Men Liu," to explore the internal power of China's early democratic enlightenment ideology is the theme, starting the imagination on the process of immigrant groups on the formation of the late Ming Dynasty, one side with the introspection and critique on Late Ming's intellectuals and on the other hand with the intention of modernizing reconstruction of traditional thinking cultural. Late Ming Dynasty is one important turning point in cultural history of China, especially the intellectuals glorifies China's history of culture. Based on the discussion of Bai Men Liu, this paper attempts to express the concern on the sorrow Late Ming's history and Late Ming's intellectuals spiritual and cultural traditions in order to seek some possibility on"Modern China"culture reconstruction.
