Therefore, in interpreting necessary measures of flexibility should be adopted to remove the cultural barriers and facilitate the communication. Equally important, the interpreter should also assume an appropriate role: he should not make use of his linguistic advantage to try to manipulate the inter-cultural communication, nor should he just serve as a"middle person", an invisible shadow that converts one language into another mechanically. Instead, he should actively participate in the communication between different cultures to facilitate the communication while faithfully performing his duty.
