LüDaisheng is one of the excellent singers and vocal music educators in the history of Henan's modern vocal music education. Her decades of teaching experience lay a foundation for her great achievements in vocal music teaching career. She is ambitious and determined to dedicate herself to the music education cause. She develops a teaching system of her own and has trained a large number of famous singers and vocal music educators. In addition, she compiled over ten vocal music textbooks which cover not only Chinese local folk songs and art songs in 1930s but also the art songs from foreign countries such as Germany, Italy, the UK, Russia and France. These teaching materials enrich the vocal music songs and are considered to be valuable wealth for the development of Henan's vocal music. Although LüDaisheng attaches greater importance to technical regulations of bel canto, she does not neglect the study of Chinese works. She holds that voice and performance, Chinese works and foreign works are of equal importance. She shows great assiduity in her work and makes an indelible contribution to the promotion of Henan's vocal music art. LüDaisheng achieves a lot in her art path and makes a pioneering impact on Henan's vocal music and education.At present, our department is carrying out the study of the history of Henan modern music educational development. As LüDaisheng is the forerunner of Henan modern vocal music education, the study of her teaching is significant. Through the statement of LüDaisheng's life experience and her teaching idea & methods, this paper aims to find out her unique teaching theory, to explore her teaching experience and further to highlight her achievements and important status in Henan vocal music education cause. LüDaisheng, as a famous vocal musical educator in Henan, is outstanding. Her artistic life embodies a master's ideals, personality charm, and academic thought. LüDaisheng, nearly 100-year-old person, adheres to the principle"impart knowledge and educate people". She keeps pursuing and struggling in the ocean of vocal music and devotes all her life to vocal music art and leaves precious spiritual wealth for Henan's vocal music education career.
