Preliminary Research On The Performances Of The Common Emotional Characteristics Of Paganini's Five Violin Concertos

I think that, in Paganini's five violin concertos, there are common emotional characteristics like "heroic", "melancholic" and "comedy". Besides, each characteristic has its special musical expression, which are worth researching in depth. Based on the sheet and document literature concerning Paganini's violin concertos and his other violin works, this thesis probes into the common emotional characteristics in the five of Paganini's violin concertos objectively.This thesis is divided into three chapters as follow:" Introduction" briefly introduces the reasons of choosing topic selection, generalizes the research related to this topic, and explains the purpose and significance of this researching;â… :"The symbolism of common emotional characteristics in Paganini's five violin concertos", which mainly from the overall structure, generalizes the symbolic contents of the three emotional common features, that is " heroic ", " melancholic ", and " comedy ", which performance in the five of Paganini's violin concertos;â…¡:"The specific performances of the common emotional characteristics in Paganini's five violin concertos " is the main part of this thesis. This chapter reveals the performances of the three common emotional features, namely " heroic ", "melancholic", and " comedy ", which reflected in the five of Paganini's violin concertos by the music elements;â…¢:"The main factors which affect the common emotional characteristics in Paganini's five violin concertos", from the two factors, namely about the individual and environmental aspects, explores the courses of both common emotional features in Paganini's violin concertos objectively and historically;It is held in this thesis that as a violinist and a composer, Paganini's violin concertos are on behalf of his art features and musical langue. In addition, they highly summarize his legendary and dramatic life. He had been fighting, struggling, crying and laughing in his music.
