In the process of animation art creation, the personality and sharp action of character and the smooth movement are the most important visual and effective ways when animated character was expressed. The design of wonderful character action is believed the most successful achievement of animation art. It is also the crucial project. From the perspective of semiotics, re-survey the action of animation character, the research seeks the new ideas for the design of the action of animation character by researching the symbolical text of the action language of animation character systematically, which has been based on semiotic. Based on collecting abundant of materials, the paper study ratiocinates and argues the symbol structure and semiosis about the action language of animation character by applying semiotic research methods, seeks the representative example to analysis, induction and argument, achieves a combination of reasoned argument and example argument.According to Derrida's writing structure theory and kinesics theory, the concludes that the action of animation character, as language, has the essence of the double symbols with writing language and action language have been explored. The research further confirms the symbolical essence of the action language of animation character, by exploring the action language symbols of animation character's three modes of being—time function, space function, space-time structure function. On this basis,the particular characteristics of the action language of animation character have been affirmed, including resembles language, ideographs block, limited transitivity, perception hallucination and double curtness. Putting up symbolic thinking that proceeds from the nature of the double symbols and the characteristics of the symbols,which will contribute to the realization of the action language of animation character in the time-space structure.According to Umberto Eco's three-sub-section theory, the methods of sub-section about the action language of animation character have been puts forward, and the significance of sub-section study has been achieved, which provide the theory and methodology foundations for exploring its structure. The study has contributed to many results, explores the microstructure of the action language of animation character, and concludes that the symbols about the action language of animation consist of uncounted symbolic parameters, which make up a kind of symbolic parameter space by different relationships. Combine with the structure and function about the action language of animation character, the research further studies its dynamics, kinematics, kinetic curve, time and circumstance encoding composition. Then, in an all-round way, the structure and function about the action language of animation character from the perspective of microcosmic, which provides the theoretical support for understanding micro-creation level about the action of animation character deeply have been researched.Combine with semiosis theory, a conclusion that the semiosis of the action language of animation character is its own creation process has been puts forward. The application methods of splitting, substitution, inverting, porting, augmenting, and exclusion have been analysed. And the comprehensive effect on the design of the action of animation have been analysed in this paper. Then the mechanism for the syntax of the action language of character has been clarified based on Chomsky, which transform from deep structure to surface structure.The aesthetic culture of the action language of character have been analyzed, which including strange, perfection, interest, humour, simplism and rhythm base on the aesthetic form of fabricate and hallucination. Based on these, this paper presents the conclusion that the process for design of action language for character are transform from semiotic organize process to aesthetic culture.The continuity of action langue of character design and evolutionary modes are explored. The method of semiotic framework for action language of character in the design of character setup has been drawn. The method of the semiosis of the action language of character has been explored. The method of the circumstance encoding composition for the action language of character in the design of animation has been explored.The action language of character comprise with all the aspect of the design for action of character that make up of a rich and colorful symbol system. The excellent action language of character always includes the character and personality of the characters in animation film. Semiotic organize process and aesthetic culture are the important parts for the action language design which are enhance the produce level of the animation, provide a new ideal of design, accumulate the material for design and design culture.These research will be of some value for the study of action language of character and the design of character animation.
