Study On Folk Religion In Jiangxi District Of The Southern-Sung Dynasty

Folk religion widely circulated in the popular. Or most people respects faith. Compared with systematism religion, it do not have the systematic ceremony,classics,classics and leaders. This article talked about three aspects. First, have a textual research on the folk religion in the Jiangxi district of the Southern-Sung dynasty. According to the respecting objects about the folk religion, there were five species deity, such as the natural deity,the people deity,the animal deity,the heaven and earth deity,the occupation deity. According to the source of the folk religion, I think it also has five sides. All things on earth,the things with effective deed,the famous people in the former dynasty,the nation's ancestor were adored as the deity. The local deity,the Han-native divinity and the deity of the other province constituted the folk religion in the Jiangxi district of the Southern-Sung dynasty. On account of the former questions, the folk religion in Jiangxi was very old,out of ranges,having ranks and multivariant system. Second, talking about the Sheng-temple in the dynasty is the other subject。The reason of the increasing of the Sheng-temple was the society factors which likes drought,the flood and the local turmoil. The passage also discusses the social meaning function of the Sheng-temple. Last, it discusses the relation between local society in Jiangxi district of Southern-Sung dynasty and the folk religion through the whole and the case studies. It analyses the local unrest,water transport with the folk religion. I think the folk religion in the Jiangxi district of Southern-Sung dynasty was affected by the local unrest,water transport. In a word, the local society in Jiangxi district of Southern-Sung dynasty and the folk religion had a close relationship.
