A Study On Folk Culture In Southern Poetry

China is a land of poetry, which has always been the mainstream of Chinese literary history for several thousands of years. These poems by literati or the public all reflect the different perspectives of social life and naturally it contents the important part of social life in abundance–local condition and customs.So did Southern Poetry, which comprehensively displays social style and theme.Studying these elements can help us understand Chinese national real spirit then, including the material interesting, thinking, aesthetic trends, daily habits and so on.of that dynasty.The reading of Southern Poetry in this paper mainly starts from the perspective of folk culture, in which the other literature books and records are in conjunction, using an integrated reflection way, trying to reappear the social customs described in Southern Poetry, discussing the aesthetic value and effect artistic effect of the culture description in the poems.It is a try to set"the Study of Folk Poems".This paper was divided into three parts, the first is the"introduction", the second consists of chapterⅠtoⅢ, the third chapterⅣ.In the Introduction part the definition of"Folk""Folk Poetry"are defined and the social background of the Southern Research and the current study condition of folk poetry. The second part is the focus of this paper which mainly embodied folk culture phenomenon in the poetry of Southern, including material folk (reflected in chapter 1), society folk(in chapter 2) and belief folk(The chapter 3). The third part analysis literatually the study of the folk poetry phenomenon in Southern Poetry and discussed the relationship between folk phenomenon and the poet's creation and the aesthetic features of the Southern folk poetry. The Conclusion part highlights once again the original purpose of this paper and points out the significance of this topic.
