This paper tries to reinterpret the local custom in Lu Xun's works from the perspective of the regional image-building. By contestualized style and daily local customs, the mark of materialized geographic space provides us an image of Shaoxing region, which mainly exists in Lu Xun's novels and proses. While the style combining the voilent resistance, the extreme toughness and the wind-like sharpness presented in his essays, is a reflection of localism, which offers more content for Shaoxing image. From the other men's perspective (i.g. the perspective of Chinese traditional culture and the perspective of modern civilization), Lu Xun achieved the multi-dimensional construction of regional image. |
