| Objective:To study the effects and mechanism of SanJieMingMu Tablets on the retinal protection and antiproliferation in rabbits proliferative Vitreoretino pathy(PVR) induced by vitreous hemorrhage. Methods: using autoblood in rabbits monocular eyes to build vitreous hemorrhage models. Set up Blank control group,model group,positive control group treated with Hexuemingmu tablets,and the high,medium,low quantity groups of Sanjiemingmu tablets. The therapy groups take the experimental medicines once everyday. Record the basic information and signs of rabbits everyday. Observe the condition of vitreous and oculi fundus at 24 hours and 6 weeks respectively with derect ophthalmoscope and B-scan. Make ratinal pathological section to evaluate the morphology of retina after 6 weeks. Examine the content of sICAM-1 in vitreous and retinal homogenate and Na~+-K~+ATPase activity in retinal homogenate after 6 weeks. Results: comlpared with blank control group, the model group showed significant pathological signs. The improvements of Sanjiemingmu tablets high-dose and medium-dose are better than Hexuemingmu tablets and Sanjiemingmupian low-dose group.Derectophthalmo- scope and B-scan shows every modeling groups develop vitreous hemorrhage,Organizing trabs and proliferative membrane and the condition of medicine treated groups were improved in different degrees after 6 weeks. B-scan and retinal pathological section give the same results. There are significant difference among Sanjiemingmu tablets high-dose,medium-dose,low-dose group,model group and Hexuemingmu tablets group (P<0.05). Comlpared with blank control group, the content of sICAM-1 increased and Na~+-K~+ATPase activity decreased in every model groups(P<0.05). Comlpared with Sanjiemingmu tablets high-dose and medium-dose groups, the low-dose group and Hexuemingmu tablets showed significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions: SanjieMingmu tablets can facilitate absorption of vitreous hemorrhage, ruduce lipid proxidation(LPO), protect Na~+-K~+ATPase activity to protect retina; SanjieMingmu tablets can decrease the expression of sICAM-1, inhibit cell adhesion,migration and proliferation to prevent and treat PVR and protect retina. |
